The Eagles scored only in the first quarter, and the Commanders shut them out the rest of the way, 27-10, so Over 40.5, Posted -110, loses by 3½ points. Saquon Barkley's 3-yard touchdown run put the Eagles up 10-0, but the Commanders were flagged repeatedly in that quarter, Drew Stevens missed from 55 yards, and Chig Okonkwo lost a fumble. Jayden Daniels threw for 217 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown to Stefon Diggs that tied it in the second quarter, and Stevens kicked four field goals, one from 56 yards. The Commanders sacked Tanner McKee five times and held the Eagles to 268 yards, only 199 before the final drive. Barkley ran 13 times for 30 yards, and Jake Elliott missed a 41-yard kick after an illegal formation penalty gave him a second try.
