With two outs in the sixth and Xander Bogaerts on first, Miguel Andujar's grounder drew a throwing error from Cooper Pratt, and Bogaerts scored the run that held up. Padres 4, Brewers 3, so Brewers ML at +119 loses, and Milwaukee's series lead is 2–1.
Dustin May lasted three innings and 52 pitches, and San Diego scored twice off him in the third on a Fernando Tatis Jr. groundout and a Manny Machado single. William Contreras homered in the fourth, Jackson Chourio's sacrifice fly tied it in the fifth, and Jake Cronenworth homered off JoJo Romero in the bottom half. Christian Yelich singled Contreras home in the seventh to make it 4–3. Michael King got the last six outs, walked two in the ninth, and ended it on Yelich's double-play grounder.
