Recap, Oct 12, 2026

William Contreras singled in Milwaukee's first run, tied the game with a homer in the fifth, and singled home the go-ahead run in the sixth. Brewers 7, Dodgers 4, so Brewers ML at +112 wins, and Milwaukee leads the NL Championship Series 2–0.

The Dodgers led twice. Teoscar Hernández's sacrifice fly in the first put them up 1–0. Christian Yelich's two-run single in the third put Milwaukee ahead and ended Yoshinobu Yamamoto's day after 2⅔ innings. In the fifth, Logan Henderson threw away Tommy Edman's bunt to score Kyle Tucker, and Freddie Freeman's sacrifice fly made it 4–3.

That was the last of the Dodgers. Dustin May, JoJo Romero, Abner Uribe and Aaron Ashby retired all 15 hitters they faced, seven on strikeouts. Brice Turang and Jake Bauers singled in two more in the eighth, and Los Angeles finished with three hits to Milwaukee's 12.

A moneyline pays on the final score alone, so a lead the starter hands back in the fifth costs nothing when the bullpen behind him allows no hits.

House 26–21.
