Recap, Sep 10, 2026

Tough beat. Rangers 3, Mariners 4 at T-Mobile, and the moneyline never made it home.

First pitch 4:10 ET. Jacob deGrom (Rangers RHP) was filthy — six innings, no earned runs, twelve strikeouts. Logan Gilbert (Mariners RHP) went seven with three earned and eleven punchouts and got the win. For six innings this looked exactly like the near-even arms case we bought at plus money.

Texas led 3–0 after Joc Pederson (Rangers DH) went deep for his 26th and Nicky Lopez (Rangers INF) manufactured another. Then Jakob Junis (Rangers RHP) entered the seventh and the game flipped in a hurry — Dominic Canzone (Mariners OF) singled home a run, and Julio Rodríguez (Mariners CF) hit a three-run homer (21st) to make it 4–3. Andrés Muñoz (Mariners RHP) closed it for his 27th save.

Thesis was a price play on a wash. The arms were a wash until the bullpen wasn’t. Fade we named — Gilbert and Seattle’s staff — showed up late. Plus-money road sides still have to finish.

Clear evening in Seattle. One bad inning and the ticket was gone.
